HUABUN(화분)
HUABUN ("potted plant" in Korean) is a 40-minute performance that deals with the unfamiliarity of time and space.
It establishes connections between people and plants and the constant encounter with a different environment.
HUABUN explores a movement language inspired by plants that scan their surroundings with 20 senses.
ZINADA transforms their experience of relocation into a poetic performance.

"In any case, what Lee does here is nothing like anything we have ever seen before; alternating between highs and lows at lightning speed (...) The migrated "plant" seems to have arrived in an environment that it does not yet trust. You almost feel a little sadistic that you enjoy this dance-like homelessness so much." - Suddeutsche Zeitung 30.03.2023

"(...)Well done, because the 40-minute premiere, which Lee performs solo, develops in three short chapters much more poetically and atmospherically than the reference book "The Intelligence of Plants" by researcher Stefano Mancuso, on which the researched movement material is based, initially suggests. (...) which soon continue through the rest of her body, creating a time-lapse effect - as if we were witnessing a scene from David Attenborough's documentary "The Secret Life of Plants.
